Very popular: The GSD does not just enjoy popularity in America. There are hundreds of thousands of fanciers in 78 countries worldwide. There are 250,000 purebred GSDs in Germany alone, with about 15,000 puppies born a year. There is even a World Union of German Shepherd Dog Clubs.

Very good company/ love to hangout with you: They are always ready to accompany you wherever you go

They have unparalleled, Unmatched Loyalty and Protection: Cats are well-known for sometimes following their masters into the bathroom, and lots of dogs do it, too. The thing is, your German Shepherd will follow you in there to not make sure you are alright and safe. A fiercely loyal dog, which is why they make such great service dogs, just like Golden Retrievers. Some call them “Velcro” dogs, because they never want to leave your side.

No private moments: German Shepherds will make sure you never have a private moment to yourself (and you'll find that you don't mind at all), so no creepy or shady things

They have a long life span: if you bought a German Shepherd as a puppy, typically, you will enjoy 10 to 13 years with your pup.

They are high nosy, very good at sniffing things: GSDs can sniff out weapons, diabolic people and even alert you of an impeding danger in the environment.
So don't be scared they are your friends.......yes loyal to a fault and will always protect you even if it means dying
